Whitehaven and Mach to join Plibersek in court

FEDERAL environment minister Tanya Plibersek will be joined by Whitehaven Coal and Mach Energy in a Federal Court legal challenge over her climate change risk assessment of two coal mines in New South Wales.

The mining companies will join the proceedings, effectively defending the minister’s decisions.
