Delta facing $1M fine over Vales Point fish kill

THE New South Wales Environment Protection Authority has started prosecuting Delta Electricity in the Land and Environment Court in relation to a fish kill occurring near its Vales Point coal-fired power station at Lake Macquarie in September 2022.

The EPA alleges Delta failed to properly maintain its chlorine dosing plant.
