Regulator probes quarry mishap

THE New South Wales Resources Regulator is taking a closer look at the systems of work around tracking conveyor belts on power screens at the Mount Magometon quarry, 25km east of Coonamble in the state’s central west, as part of an investigation into an entanglement incident that seriously injured a worker on August 28.
