Bundaberg wants its coke

TWO-thirds of residents in Bundaberg, Queensland, would support a metallurgical coal mine so long as it protected prime agricultural land and provided local employment, a poll has found.

Almost half of the survey base in Bundaberg said they would be more likely to support a political candidate who promised any proposal for a steel-making coal mine by Fox Resources.
