Partnership aims to improve productivity through automation optimisation

RAJANT Corporation and Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia claim they are improving operational safety and productivity by introducing autonomous haulage systems to an Australian coal mine that facilitates communication between autonomous vehicles.

The mine’s existing Rajant wireless network deployed across a vast number of mobile and fixed infrastructure easily met the requirements to support and enable Hitachi’s autonomous operations.
