Grosvenor blast cause unknown

AN INVESTIGATION by Anglo American into the cause of the May 6 blast at its Grosvenor underground coal mine in Queensland that left five workers badly injured has so far failed to find the ignition source.

An investigation is yet to find the ignition source that led to the May 6 blast at Grosvenor.

The news comes as authorities continue to investigate a methane ignition event at Fitzroy Australia Resources' Carborough Downs mine in Queensland. No-one was injured in that incident.
