The product, in the form of a set top box, will be installed in 2374 rooms, 17 executive rooms and 20 common areas across the village.

Under the terms of the deal Swift will receive installation fees in 2022's fourth quarter and recurring revenues for three years with two 12-month extension options.

While the contract value starts at $3.5 million there is capacity for more revenue if more rooms are hooked up and further call-off agreements issued, under the framework agreement.

With Swift Access Roy Hill workers can cast their favourite streaming apps from their mobile device straight to their room's TV, with Swift providing access to its full content library including first release movies and sector-specific mental health and Indigenous education resources.

Swift CEO Brian Mangano said the company had enjoyed a strong partnership with Roy Hill over the past eight years.

"This latest collaboration is a natural next step in Swift's mission to assist Roy Hill in providing an outstanding workplace experience," he said.

"We are excited by a continued Swift, Roy Hill partnership and look forward to working together to create new innovative solutions to the challenges of the FIFO [fly-in, fly- out] lifestyle."
