MICROSOFT’S A$5 billion investment in expanding its hyperscale cloud computing and artificial intelligence infrastructure in Australia over the next two years – the single largest investment in its 40 year history in the country, could be a shot in the arm for the digitalisation of Australia’s mining industry.
