WITH the fly-in, fly-out business returning to full flight an aircraft maker is hoping to build on its beachhead into the Australian market.

ATR makes the ATR 72-500 and 72-600 planes that are used by the likes of Hevilift, PNG Air and Virgin Australia.

The planes are twin-engine turboprops with enough room for 72 passengers.
