Wallarah 2 gets its mining lease

THE New South Wales government has issued a mining lease for the Wyong Areas Coal Joint Venture’s Wallarah 2 Coal Project in the central coast that aims to extract 5 million tonnes per annum of thermal coal using longwall mining methods.
