Methodology:
The Exploration Report 2024 (feat. Opaxe data) was put together using a selection of research techniques.
Our Exploration Survey, which attracted responses from more than 130 industry professionals, was conducted from February to April. The questions probed views on themes ranging from the most promising new technologies to spending priorities and challenges around access to capital and permitting.
The Technology & Techniques review was built on Mining Magazine’s in-house expertise, and companies were contacted directly to provide additional insights on their recent drilling successes in the Discovery Highlights section.
Research partner Opaxe provided data on the top intercepts, selected using the company’s own algorithms, as well as details of 2023 initial resource estimates.
