Unexpected PRS movement at Ulan leads to fitter's leg being crushed and amputate

A CONTRACT longwall maintenance fitter working on Longwall W5 at Glencore's Ulan underground mine suffered serious leg injuries due to an unexpected advancement of a powered roof support, an investigation by the New South Wales Resources Regulator has found.
