NSW coal exporters to be forced to keep domestic reservation

THE New South Wales coal mining sector has slammed a mooted plan by the state government that would require all coal producers – including exporters – to retain 10% of their production in reserve for domestic supply as a means to keep a lid on coal prices paid by power generators.
