NLT phone receives Australian certification

The WiFi NLT Ranger IS phone is the latest addition to the NLT Digital family of products and has been specifically built for the underground mining environment.

Designed for talk and text, it meets intrinsically safe standards for gassy mines. The IP 55 shell features anti-shock and anti-static materials and is built to withstand the rugged mining environment.

The high-resolution, 1.8-inch colour LCD is easy to read under all light conditions and dual speakers provide good-quality, high-volume audio and redundancy. The high-capacity internal battery pack incorporates 26 years of NLT’s cap lamp battery manufacturing experience.

The Ranger IS Wi-Fi phone is ideal for productivity, providing point-to-point communication and point-to-multipoint communications (push-to-talk) capability.

It also has several safety benefits, including emergency messaging/text messaging.
