Victorian coal ash could be used in new magnesium plant

CONSTRUCTION of Latrobe Magnesium’s initial $54 million 3000 tonne per annum magnesium plant in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley – which could be supplied by Yallourn coal ash – is expected to begin in December.
