US coal stocks find ground

THE US coal market managed to emerge out of the dark pit it had been lingering in for the last two days, with a majority of coal companies posting healthy gains. Peabody Energy climbed 1.45% to close at $US31.18 while Oxford Resources jumped $1.17 to close at $8.26. Puda Coal and James River Coal posted the highest losses, dipping 7.4% and 3.3% respectively.
