HVO reduces GHG in revised expansion submission

THE Hunter Valley Operations joint venture – made up of Glencore with 49% and Yancoal with 51% – has revised down its estimated Scope 1 and 2 emissions to average 1.10 million tonnes CO2-e per year over the life of the HVO project from approximately 2024 to 2050.

The expansion project comprises the continuation of mining at HVO North and HVO South.
