Nickel Industries puts electric trucks to the test

INDONESIA nickel miner Nickel Industries is trialling a fleet of 40t battery electric trucks as part of a plan to get a 50% carbon intensity reduction by 2035 and net-zero emissions by 2050.

It has been a busy few days for the company, which also signed a nickel matte sales contract with Glencore and had its shareholders approve a plan to buy 75% of the Excelsior Nickel Cobalt Project in Indonesia....
