With Australian Program for the Certification of Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (ANZEx) approval, the Ventis now bears marking codes Ex ia s Zone 0 I, Ex ia s Zone 0 IIC T4 and IP66/IP67.

The lightweight Ventis, highly configurable by design, can detect one to four gases including oxygen, combustible gases and any two of the toxic gases carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide.

It is ideal for confined space monitoring as well as continuous personal monitoring in potentially hazardous environments. In fact, it has the capability to draw samples from up to 100 feet in small spaces using an integral pump.

Ventis is fully compatible with iNet, Industrial Scientific’s gas-detection-as-a-service solution, which helps operations worldwide see alarms, exposure levels and usage from various locations.
