One of IMARC’s key speeches will be from Dr Jia Yu, director of the department of commercial affairs at CPI International Minerals & Investment Company, which is the resources division of one of China’s largest SOE power generators.

Dr Jia Yu will also be joined by prominent China watchers such as Stuart Fuller, global managing partner for law firm King & Wood Mallesons and Paul Glasson, chairman of Satori Investments Greater China and national vice president of the Australia China Business Council.

Attendees will be given the chance to sit in on the panel session titled “the rise of private investors from China”, which will answer key questions for informed investors, including how attractive is Australia for Chinese investment; which geographies are most attractive to China; what commodities China is investing in; and in what volumes.

IMARC conference director Siobhan Corry said the size of Chinese investment in Australian resources was historically unparalleled and IMARC would provide an opportunity for companies and investors to hear the latest trends and tips in harnessing this wave of capital.

“We are delighted to have produced such a comprehensive list of speakers discussing Chinese investment and this is truly an event companies and investors cannot afford to miss,” Corry said.
