Held on Wednesday and Thursday last week at the Darwin Convention Centre, the two-day event saw more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest safety-related products and services from across Australia.

Some interesting new products were displayed, included Enware Australia’s award winning EM850 safety shower with emergency eye wash, professional respiratory protection by The SEA Group and Sucuratrak’s fleet management software.

Safety in Action Darwin also provided attendees with opportunities to hear from industry safety experts during free seminars, including from safety management software developer Myosh and construction supply specialist Paramount Safety Products.

A talk on hydration in the workplace was also given by energy drinks provider Thorzt Electrolyte.

“Seminar attendees walk away from the show with a huge wealth of insights directly from leaders and experts from a range of safety related fields,” conference organiser Informa Exhibitions exhibition director Tony Francis said.

Two other Safety in Action shows will be held across the country this year, with the next one to be held in Perth on June 11-12 and the final one in Sydney on September 2-4.

Two more shows are planned for next year, beginning in Brisbane on April 22-23 and then in Melbourne from September 15 to 17.

The next Safety in Action Darwin will not be held until 2018.
