Since its formation in late 2005, Ruichy Minova, headquartered in Beijing, has experienced growing demand for its products from the Chinese mining authorities as they continue their drive for improved safety.

Minova said the key to the company’s success in China was the ability to adapt Minova International technologies and products and to deliver local solutions.

The Chinese arm is now a major contributor to the Minova Group.

The company’s Beijing factory manufactures resin products including Bevedol, Bevedan, Carbofill and also Minova blended cement grouts such as Tekseal and Tekflex sprayable membranes.

The Tai’an plant, situated in the western Shandong province, which will manufacture roof bolts and steel components, is due to be opened by Ruichy Minova in March 2009.

The plant is being fitted to meet the stringent safety standards of Minova parent company Orica with full production expected by the second quarter of 2009.
