Bonfiglioli Australia has set up a permanent office in Singapore to supply markets in the South Asia region.
Bonfiglioli Australasian managing director Malcolm Lewis said the new office would enhance local service to major customers in the area, including those involved in mining, mineral processing and offshore oil development.
“These are markets in which we already have considerable expertise as a result of our existing activities throughout Australasia and the Asia-Pacific,” Lewis said.
“There is a strong market in the region for helical drives, planetary Trasmital drives and combination drives – types that are already being engineered and delivered in Australasia to resources, infrastructure and processing industries.
“As we expand our engineering and stocking resources in Australasia through our current $A20 million program, we are spreading the benefits further afield to areas of broader demand.”
Bonfiglioli Riduttori Italy is also building a new facility in Vietnam which will produce electromechanical products.
