The award recognises outstanding achievement in international trade and the roles exporting companies play in creating employment and prosperity.

"This award is testament to the skill and dedication of our loyal team of designers, fabricators and fitters, who work hard to ensure export shipments are built to a consistent, high standard of quality and are dispatched in a timely manner," ARO/Hydromatic founder and managing director John Wood said.

"We now export over 65% of our turnover, which is quite an achievement, considering we only began exporting less than 10 years ago.

"We have offices in a number of countries around the world and are on a path towards becoming a true Aussie multinational."
