The explorer sent a letter to NSW Premier Mike Baird last week requesting an immediate review of his government’s shock decision and detailing a $21 million cost to the company because of the suspension.

The company has since been informed that the matter has been palmed off to Resources and Energy Minister Anthony Roberts and it can expect a response to its correspondence shortly.

Metgasco has written to all NSW MPs regarding statements made in Parliament which it believes to be incorrect or misleading.

The company also urged the Independent Commission Against Corruption to expedite its investigation into the company’s licence, wishing to clear its reputation as soon as possible.
