Late last month Greenpeace activists painted “Rudd exporting CO2" and "Stop coal expansion" on the sides of several ships waiting to load, in a demonstration against the expanding Queensland coal industry.

Ten people were arrested and charged over the graffiti attack.

Three of the protesters did not appear in court yesterday and were fined $A100 and ordered to make $275 restitution to the Queensland Police Service.

The seven who did appear in court were ordered to pay $A100 bond and put on a good behaviour bond for six months.

No convictions were recorded.
