Kopex said the KTW-200 roadheader’s ability had already been proven in four Polish underground coal mines operating at a depth of 700 metres.

Also included at the Kopex stand will be a KFB2012 feeder breaker.

Kopex sales manager Craig Melville said it was a lightweight and reliable machine.

“It is easy to set up, transport and maintain, is user-friendly and all components have been selected to ensure the unit is reliable and durable in the harsh conditions of a coal mine,” he said.

Melville said all the company’s transformers were designed and tested in accordance with Australian IEC 76 standards.

Key features of the transformers include low loss designs, economical operational and low temperature rise test results.

Melville said all materials had an extended operating life span and were 220C-grade to ensure maximum reliability.

Kopex will be at stand SL109 during AIMEX, from September 6-9.
