The conference will be held from May 18 to 20 in Aachen, Germany and is presented by RWTH Aachen University, Virginia Tech University and the Technical University of Crete.

More than 90 presentations experts from about 26 countries will speak on a range of issues covering sustainability.

Among those presenting include the China University of Mining and Technology, German Mining Association, New South Wales University, University of Queensland, University of Sydney and the US Environmental Protection Agency.
