A listed mining company with a keen focus on the Mt Isa district and major investment across greenfields & brownfields exploration, currently seeks an Exploration Manager for their Queensland projects.
Reporting to the CEO, in this permanent role you will drive value-creation with successful discoveries through:
- Planning and development of cost-effective exploration programs
- Successful leadership and mentoring of the exploration team
- Stakeholder management, including continuing the close & successful existing relationships with First Nations people and landowners.
- Procurement & management of contractors and consultants
- Continued commitment to safe work practices
- Lead the generation of geological models
- Management and reporting of QAQC data
- Budgeting & JORC-compliant reporting
- Continual evaluation of business development opportunities
This permanent role is offered on a FIFO basis from any Queensland regional centre on an attractive roster. A market leading remuneration package, including attractive incentive scheme is provided. You'll enjoy substantial budgets, a very large project portfolio with significant upside potential across near-mine and regional exploration (2000 sq km+).
Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified geologist with a successful track record in base metals exploration leadership across both near-mine and regional projects. You will have demonstrable exploration success and proven leadership skills.
