ENGINEERING company, Waratah Engineering has appointed Terry Coggles as sales and marketing manager.

Waratah Engineering announces appointment

NSW based Waratah Engineering provides new and rebuilt mining machinery to the underground coal mining industry and focuses on developing new technologies for development equipment.

 

Coggles is a mining engineer with extensive experience in the sales and servicing of underground coal mining equipment. He has worked in the industry for over 30 years and held senior managerial positions in Australia and China with Anderson Rea, Long-Airdox and DBT.

 

“He has an excellent understanding of the Australian Industry and the requirements of the equipment supply companies operating within it,” said Mark Kingshott, managing director of Waratah.

 

Coggles is a member of The Mine Managers Association of Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

 

"I am looking forward to taking on the challenge of this role with Waratah. Whilst they are better known for their repair and overhaul business, Waratah are a progressive company who are developing new products and seeking to expand their activities. I relish the opportunity to participate in the continuing growth of Waratah," Coggles said.
