MESCA

AS THE peak industry association of its kind, the Mining Equipment & Services Council of Australia (MESCA) is participating in QME 2006 by providing a large hospitality stand for 29 of its 270 member companies. This will enable these companies to exchange information between themselves and clients.

There are exhibitions aplenty within the minerals and energy sector, but QME stands out as the premium coal-focused exhibition in Australia and has been the cornerstone for supply companies to engage with coal producers en masse.

The MESCA hospitality stand has a clear strategy – to promote relationship building.

“MESCA hopes the stand will allow the 29 member companies the opportunity to cement and extend their relationships within the coal sector not only in Australia but with overseas visitors to the exhibition,” the organisation said.

The 29 member companies are Kador Engineering, Austcast, NLT, CNW, Georg Fischer, Serck Controls, Transmark FCX, TESA Group, Skeltons, Ludowici, Komatsu, Artcraft, LCR Lindores, Mack Trucks, KSB Pumps, Sage Technology, PMT Water, Howdens, Groutech, RCR Tomlinson, Transfield Services, Insul Conductix, Anodyne, Bullivants B&R Enclosure, Rutherford Power, Jaws Buckets, Mastertent, Morris, and Journey Consulting.

“They will be promoting their biggest assets – their people,” MESCA said.

“When the chips are down, it’s the people that make the difference. In these boom times, if you are looking for on time delivery, quality products and services and high value-adding support, then it will be the relationships within the companies that make this happen.

“What better way to solve the world’s problems, or at least our slice of it, than over a coffee or beer – we look forward to seeing you at the MESCA QME 2006 Hospitality stand.”
