Bowen loses fight for Rocklands Richfield

BOWEN Energy has failed in its takeover bid for fellow Queensland coal explorer Rocklands Richfield, after Rocklands shareholders voted in favour of the China Coke and Chemicals deal instead.

Bowen loses fight for Rocklands Richfield

Rocklands will purchase all of the shares in China Coke and Chemicals (CCS), which owns and operates a 480,000 tonne per annum capacity coke plant in China.

 

Bowen Energy will now work with joint venture partner Bushan Steel to advance its four coal projects in Queensland.
