Hull’s placement was effective August 15, reporting to Coalsales president Bryan Galli.

In his new role, Hull will oversee all aspects of transportation including contracts, projects and communication for rail and other services supporting Peabody's seven western operations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming.

The position was previously held by Michael Rayphole, who is retiring in October.

Hull, a 30-year industry veteran, has been with Peabody since May 2007, when he became the producer’s director of sales and marketing. Prior to that, he worked with Rio Tinto America and Kennecott Utah Copper.

Coalsales is the largest coal marketer in the US.
