QME preview: MESCA

How does your sales team access information on mining and energy projects? As a supplier to the mining and energy industry, could you benefit from attending functions where the major project proponents discuss their projects in detail?

Staff Reporter

Would you benefit from the opportunity to regularly network with more than 300 of Australia’s premium suppliers to the mining and energy industry?

Can you see the value in networking with representatives from Parsons Brinkerhoff, Bechtel, AbiGroup, Aker Solutions, Laing O’Rourke, Monadelphous, Ausenco, Sedgman and Worley Parsons?

As the largest industry body representing suppliers to the mining and energy industry, this is what MESCA does and has been doing for the past 16 years.

MESCA provides its members with access to genuine business and networking opportunities, creating direct benefits to your business, wherever you may be located across the country.

How we deliver this:

  • MESCA project briefings are conducted by and for mining, mineral processing and energy companies and their suppliers at regular intervals from Townsville to Perth. Informative speakers are engaged by MESCA to discuss current and imminent projects. A networking session concludes all MESCA briefings.
  • National bulletins provide our members with current, noteworthy articles gathered from several reliable news sources. Bulletins are issued monthly.
  • International bulletins provide our members with current, noteworthy articles gathered from several reliable sources and are issued monthly.
  • Project updates are a listing by category – coal, minerals, energy and infrastructure – of potential projects and are compiled for: Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria/Tasmania, South Australia/Northern Territory and Western Australia, and are issued bi-annually. We also issue project updates for Southeast Asia.

At QME (Queensland Mining Exhibition) 2010, MESCA will present 27 of our 330 member companies to attendees.

The 27 companies on the MESCA stand represent suppliers from capital equipment providers, service and project contractors, engineering, MRO (maintenance, repair and operational) suppliers and specialty services. We have representation from across the supply chain.
