Alliance to fly to Granny Smith for longer

Contract extension signed

Alliance Fokker

An Alliance Fokker.

Alliance Aviation will fly Gold Fields workers between Perth and Laverton for another two years to support the Granny Smith gold mine, as part of an air charter services contract extension.

The regional airline has provided services to Gold Fields since 2021 and operates 12 services a week between Perth and Laverton.

It also provides services to Gold Fields' Agnew gold mine near Leinster.

Alliance managing director Scott McMillan said the airline was pleased to be able to continue to support Gold Fields' operations across the two sites.

"The extension of the Granny Smith services contract is further proof of Alliance's ability to retain clients as a result of safe, reliable and on-time air charter services," he said.

"Our relationship with Gold Fields started in 2019 and we look forward to continuing this relationship."
