Court blow for FMG

THE High Court has dismissed a bid by iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group to appeal last year’s Federal Court ruling that handed exclusive Native Title rights to the Yindjibarndi people over an area that includes FMG’s Solomon mining hub, bringing an end to a long-running legal battle.
