The firm, based in the western Pennsylvania town of Indiana, officially comes on board today. It will soon relocate to its renovated Pittsburgh office.

“The addition of these attorneys allows the firm to continue expansion and service to clients in Pennsylvania as well as the region,” assistant managing member Brian Swiger said.

“Our clients rely on us for our industry knowledge, and this addition will undoubtedly open up increased avenues for our respective clients.”

Gormly Gormly and Yuhas, traditionally focused on the state’s oil and gas industry, will also expand Jackson Kelly’s oil and gas law arm.

“As the energy business is progressively growing in our markets, we wanted to join an industry-focused firm such as Jackson Kelly so that our clients would have access to a broader range of services and professionals when and where needed,” Gormly Gormly and Yuhas managing member Kevin Gormly said.

“By joining Jackson Kelly, our clients now have the resources of attorneys who have worked in the area for more than two decades and who understand the business and legal implications of their advice.”

Jackson Kelly officials also announced the forthcoming opening of an office in Canton, Ohio, also to provide additional services for the energy sector. It did not indicate when that office was expected to open.

However, the firm did said its growth would continue. With the firm’s addition of more than 40 attorneys in 2011 and more than a dozen so far this year, there are plans to add another 10 to 12 attorneys in the Canton and Pittsburgh markets this quarter.

Gormly Gormly and Yuhas has offices throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Colorado and the District of Columbia.
