Investors running scared

US STOCKS went into a tailspin Thursday on news from the Fed Reserve meeting and weak Chinese PMI data. The S&P 500 was down 2.5% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.3% as the market’s coal stocks stayed below the black line. Cliffs and Arch made notable losses of 4.9% and 4.1% respectively.
