BHP wins environmental case against Muswellbrook Council

MUSWELLBROOK Council has lost a case against BHP in the New South Wales Land and Environment Court after arguing “best practice” rehabilitation methods in landscape restoration should apply to the company’s whole mine site at the nearby Mount Arthur coal mine.
