The facility, which includes an office, panel shop and warehouse, is the company’s sixth satellite location. It opened on February 1.
Situated just a few minutes from Charleston and a short ride from the eastern Kentucky coalfields, the new Pillar office will focus on engineering and design and warehouse inventory for fast deployment to local customers.
It will also offer sales, service and support to Pillar’s entire product line.
Company officials said the Nitro office was opened to maintain closer contact with existing customers and to foster relationships with new ones.
The company also wanted to be able to respond more rapidly to the needs of operations in eastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia.
“The opening of the Nitro office is a continuation of the great success and growth of Pillar, and will further extend our ability to reach customers with innovative products and services,” Morgantown division manager Justin Stephens said.
Pillar’s other offices are in Grantsville, Maryland; Morgantown, West Virginia; Farmington, New Mexico; Grand Junction, Colorado; and Evansville, Indiana.
